the BIG 2-3

yes, it was my birthday last tuesday the 15th and i turned the big 2-3! that's 23! i had so much fun...i slept in late, worked a half day, then jd took me to dinner at roosters and we saw ps i love you. jd also sent me some beautiful flowers at work that i love! he got me a gri gri for rock climbing and a jewelry box he saw my eyeing at target the last few weeks. i decided i was going to finish decorating our bedroom once and for all! (until i need a change! anyone who knows me well thought this would never happen as i have 3 or 4 comforters sitting in the closet... just since we've been married!) i ike to change things up every once in a while and i couldn't make up my mind what i wanted to do. it was like an epiphany...i saw these pillows and fell in love! i knew exactly what i wanted to do! so for my birthday from my family i got this comforter and the pillows (also a really cool recipe book, gift cards and money). i put all of this together for a very reasonable price! thanks to target! when i find a good deal, i like to share it so let me give some cheap decorating tips... i wanted to make this space have a warm, romantic kind of feel. i love these colors and i think it creates the perfect feel! i think i just need a bit dimmer light.

i also got 2 nightstand i need to paint brown at lowe's for $17 each! i feel like such a bargain shopper lately! a grand total of....203.23! a whole room for $200! we really want to paint too so i'll post pictures when we get around to that!

thanks to my mom for helping me! ironing the bedskirt and putting it on, helping me hang the clock and picture, tacking the curtains to the wall! she's amazing!
