we really haven't been up to much lately = nothing to blog about.

i always take pictures and then i never do anything with them, so here they are.

my dad and i went fishing last week at east canyon.

don't let this picture fool you...those are all mine, i just don't like to hold them.

we went to dinner at pf chang's for heather's birthday and played rock band.

we tried to get a good picture for like 30 minutes and this is the best we could come up with using the self timer. this is totally fake smile by this point, we were all laughed out.

me: i hope i don't die {running}
jd: me too...if you do can i have your ipod?
me: no, i'll probably want to take it with me
jd: rats! i guess you'll probably still want to listen to music huh?

funny. some people may be offended at that response. not me. that's just jd and his humor.

the story

well, here you go. the story to go with 102...

i had been dating someone on and off that i met in new york and he was here visiting over thanksgiving. on the way to the airport said person decided to pick a fight. this was not just any fight...it was about my mom. don't mess with my mom. i don't like it.

right as i pulled up at the curb to drop him off, he said "you have a _ _ _ _ _ of a mother" (i'll let you fill in the blanks) and slammed the door.

everything else is a little fuzzy...it happened so fast. i also got out of the car and said something with the effect of not talking about my mom like that and before i knew it i slapped him across the face. i didn't even think about it. it just happened. what the? i don' t do that! never had before and never have since.

after that, i got back in my car and drove away. the bad news? his luggage was still in my car. after my dramatic slap and storming off i had to go back and give it to him.

don't worry, it was definitely OVER after that.

i don't know how there is anyone on this planet that doesn't know this story. my family thinks its the funniest thing ever and tells it every chance they get.
