yay me!

yesterday i found out i got a $2400 scholarhsip! YAY! thank you abrelia s. hinckley! that was fabulous news for my absolute last semester at weber state. boy i'm sure lucky!

we decided to bag yoga and running and went out to dinner instead to celebrate!

i love this place! we got the tejas trio and the peach blueberry cobbler. mmm.

this is what i'll be doing...

...on september 29 and 30. two whole days of cake decorating. i can't wait!

i'll be learning how to make cakes like this thanks to carries cakes

they provide all the supplies and even lunch. now i just need someone who wants a cake!

sitting

we have been doing all kind of sitting this last week. babysitting and turtlesitting.

i watched my nephew lincoln last week and he was so much fun! i'm pretty sure he's the cutest thing i've ever seen.

we played legos and puzzles,
(look at those eyelashes)

played in the sandbox, (right side up of course)

swept the kitchen,

and called grandma.

we also went to the park, got a cookie at the store, and watched elmo! we had a fun day and he was such a good boy! he went right to sleep at naptime and he cried when i had to go home. :(

my sister went to canada for a week and left us this to feed...

her turtle named wardle. he is the funniest turtle i've ever seen. he's no ordinary turtle that just sits and sleeps. he tried to climb out of his cage and he gets really excited when you come in the room. he watches everything you do and climbs all over his cage.

i don't think we want a turtle after this, but i'd take linc any day!

the jail called again yesterday.

jd checked the roster online...i didn't know anyone, but he knew 2 people!

i just barely missed the call so i still didn't find out who it was...again.

i called the jail back and they were no help. they told me there are 800 people there and they have no idea who called me. they gave me an 800 number to call and block my number. i already did that last time, but apparently it didn't work.

now what do i do?

stop calling!

i just got a call from the davis county jail. someone making a phone call to get bailed out. i don't know anyone in jail...or at least i hope i don't! i couldn't understand who it was and i accidentally pushed a button before i could find out and it didn't let the call through. this is not the first time this has happened. around christmas time some guy named brian murdock called my mom's house asking for me to come bail him out of jail. i have hever heard of this guy before. he says i'm his wife. it was 2 am. i have no idea what's going on. coincidence? random number and lucky guess at the name? wrong number and right name? i don't know. so i just checked the davis county jail roster of inmates just to make sure i don't know anyone. i don't.

i am so confused.
