5 months

this little lady is 5 months old.

sophie's 4 month appointment was actually almost 5 months

12 lbs 6 oz - 15%

23.25 inches - 9%

she's definitely growing...just not so much vertically. she is catching up to where she should be and he dr. is very pleased with how she's growing. love how her head is the highest percent! she is going to be a shorty for sure.

her tongue is constantly out. i think she's working on some teeth under there.

sophie was being so silly while i was trying to take these pictures. she was squealing and babbling and spitting all over. she was making some pretty funny faces. i'm glad i caught a few!

here is what our soph has been up to this month:

doing a lot better on her tummy. she hardly cries when she's on her tummy. she's rolled over several times, but only when SHE feels like it.

trying to sit up. she's getting better at that too. she loves to be up where she can see everything and loves to try and sit and stand.

more sitting.

more chub.

oh, and being naked. she loves that!

playing in the grass. she actually didn't mind it.

sophie is so much fun lately. she smiles all the time and is usually in a good mood (despite the teeth i suspect are making their way in). she loves to play with her toys, suck on everything she can get her little hands on, sit up, stand, eat and yell. not a mad yell...i think she just likes to hear her voice.

sophie rolled from her tummy to her back for my sister on may 15th. allison put her on a blanket and she rolled over. so we tried it again. she rolled 3 times. then she didn't want to do it again for a few weeks. then, she rolled from her back to her tummy on may 29th (for my sister again). ok, so no one actually saw this one. jd put her on her back on a blanket in my mom's family room. when allison came over, she was on her tummy on the tile. great place to roll, huh?

sophie, you are getting so big. i want you to stay my baby forever, ok?
