blessed

blessed. that's how we feel.

our sweet little soph was blessed on may 9th. mother's day. what a perfect day to bless my baby girl. it was a lovely day filled with friends, family, and food.

she looked so pretty in her lovely dress. a huge thanks to grandma ann who made her beautiful dress. it turned out even better than i thought! i loved it! and also to allison for taking pictures of this tired, cranky cutie! lots of pictures, enjoy!

i had to post this because we couldn't stop laughing! you MUST click on this so you can see it bigger. i think this is a spit bubble in her mouth, but it looks like giant buck teeth! or those fake billy bob teeth. sick! i hope her teeth don't look like this when they come in!

soph and daddy before church. soph looks like a major chunk in this picture. i'm not sure what she's doing. she did so good during the blessing. i was so worried because church started at 9:00 and that's right when she takes her morning nap. and she doesn't sleep well when she's being held. luckily, she just played with her binky the whole time and kept quiet. jd gave her a wonderful blessing. she is so lucky to have such an amazing daddy!

most of the next pictures i just posted because soph is making the funniest faces. she was being such a little ham and putting on a show for everyone. she was laughing and squealing! and smiling like crazy. it's pretty rare that we catch her smiling like this on camera so i had to share. she loved to play with her dress and kept taking handfuls to play with.
