st. george

we went to st. george over presidents day for our annual bingo trip. if you thought having a 6 week old baby was going to stop me...you're crazy! don't worry, i didn't take her to the casino. she got to hang with grandma while we played bingo. it was so nice to get out of our house for a few days and have some warmer weather. my mom was so nice to watch the girls while we went to the movie too. we saw valentine's day and it was pretty disappointing. especially bradley cooper, ugh.
while the girls went shopping, the guys bought remote control cars they could drive off the cliffs and crash. we met up with them later and it turned out to be fun for the whole family!
everyone playing on the red rocks

sophie chillin out. she slept most of the time. i think she enjoyed being out of the house and the weather as much as i did.

mia in her little cave

living my childhood dream. i always wanted a remote control car when i was little.

they took their cars up to the very top and finished them off when they were done.

i haven't forgot about this cute girl just because i have my own. she is darling! look at that face.
sophie went swimming too! she didn't like it all that much at first, but she came around. how cute does she look in her zebra swimsuit? i love it!

we went to the park and the guys were having fun jumping off the swings (of course seeing who could jump the farthest) and then they all wanted pictures jumping off.

we did miss the parade of homes this year because we decided it wasn't the best place for a 6 week old baby who isn't even allowed at church. i was a little sad because it never gets old for me. oh, and it was 4 years since we got engaged! we had a pretty chill valentine's day. we had a delicious dinner at my cousin's house with all the fam, games, and even a little crafting. thanks guys, we had fun!

You have the exact same description of that movie as everyone I've talked to. I guess I'll wait for it to be at Redbox. I LOVE her zebra swim suit! Gosh, she's darling. I have a cold right now so when I'm over this blasted cold I want to come see you, Soph and your new home!!

How funny that we were in St. George the same weekend. All we did was the parade of homes. They were fabulous as always. My parents were bummed because the homes were a lot smaller this year. I liked it cause they were more like the ones we can afford, so it was fun to see how they'd decorate a starter home. But... anyway... your trip looked like it was way more adventurous. We didn't get outside enough. And the weather was soooo nice. I love Sophie in her cute swimsuit. What a doll.
