i am not much of a morning person...especially when i find this in my shower. yuck. pretty much the biggest, hairiest spider i've ever seen. i thought about waking jd up to kill it. i decided he probably wouldn't like that so i was brave and did it myself. it took me about 10 minutes to get up the guts (ha ha) to do it. the first time i missed with the shoe and i jumped, scaring myself. i had to flush it down the toilet to make sure it wasn't coming back. then the rest of my shower and getting ready time i was nervously looking all around the bathroom to make sure another one wasn't crawling up the drain or sneaking around the corner. if i see 1, a second usually follows. why is that?
this is after its dead and its legs are all curled up. it was even bigger with its big hairy legs. good thing i was thinking enough this morning to take a picture!
any chance tennessee doesn't have ANY spiders at all?

sadly I don't think you'll be so lucky. Utah is pretty nice with it's bugs... everywhere else seems to have more.
YUCK! I make Michael kill all the spiders, and pretty much all other bugs too.
Oh no! I actually found a spider in my loofa sponge once. Yeah. It was nasty! I am glad that you found the guts to take care of it! You are brave.
Okay, so you are the bravest person ever! I never could have done that... I can't even kill spiders the size of a pea! Ty would have been waking up for sure:)
