our october.
we went to the pumpkin patch with our friends, the walls. soph had so much fun running around with her friend marli. it got dark and cold fast.
i made these owl cake pops for a friend. i loved them.
we went to the cabin in idaho, and took a quick trip to jackson hole for the day.
soph loved hanging out with her aunts.

soph even got to feed the horses next door with grandma.
and shoot the bow and arrow with daddy.
we also had a fun halloween. sophie was so excited for halloween this year. she kept telling everyone, "happy halloween!" and she was so excited to wear he bumble bee costume. i wore this same costume when i was her age. my mom made it.

this one is my favorite.
this is on actual halloween. she wouldn't give me any smiles. she was a little too excited to go trick-or-treating and get candy. we prepped her well before on what to say and what she would get if she said it. she was a pro.

(see that big scratch by her nose? she'll tell you, "mommy scratched me". don't worry, it was totally an accident. we were walking the halls at church when i reached down to grab her hand and she turned her head towards me, and scratch. she walked right back into sacrament meeting and told jd i scratched her. what a little punk. she loves to tell jd the things i accidentally do...like scratching her, breaking the light bulb in the fridge, or eating the last of something.)
