lots of updates

we have lots of updates! here you go...

sunday was sophie's first day at church. she did great! i strategically woke her up between sunday school and relief society to feed her just in case she burped really loud...like she's been known to do. and she looked darling!
i didn't get great pictures of soph on easter so she humored me later and let me put her in her basket and put the ears on her. she WAS smiling...until i pulled out the camera.

she loved her easter basket so much, she was diving in. she got bunny ears, books, an outfit, keys and some window decorations (for next year of course).

this was as good as i got with the bunny ears on easter. i love them!

soph just woke up right before this picture, can you tell?

emi and lincoln after their easter egg hunt

jd's birthday was march 27th, and even though it probably didn't top our trip to san antonio last year, it was fun! we started out having breakfast with my dad at cracker barrel, then jd went to lunch with the guys while soph and i went to a shower. then jd opened his presents and we went to dinner at goodwood bbq. it was delicious! after dinner we got "everybody's fine" at redbox and it was terribly sad. i don't recommend it.

jd got new shorts, 2 shirts, sour patch watermelons, starburst jelly beans, and a lemon bar (from the chocolate in orem - the dessert cafe the shower was at, mmm!). can you tell he LOVES candy?

here we are after dinner. soph decided to wake up right when we sat down at our table so we had to take turns holding the binky in and eating. goodwood was delicious! we love bbq!

this is jd's blueberry drizzle birthday cake. essentially, it is a big donut. doesn't it look yummy? that's because it was! it's angel food cake with blueberries and blueberry frosting drizzled over the top. i cheated and bought the blueberry frosting at bowman's so i didn't have to make my own. jd loved it!

Looks like you guys have been having lots of fun! I love Bowman's. It is my store of choice, it's too bad we live so far away. The cake looks delicious.

I'm so glad you came to the shower:) Thanks for driving all the way down by yourself! Sophie has the cutest dresses. We're going to have to talk so I know where to buy London's clothes.
