lately

lately...

soph is getting so big. last time i weighed her she was about 8 lbs. i'm sure she is close to 9 lbs now. she has her 2 months check up soon, so we'll see. she is finally getting some chubby cheeks and legs. and i love it!

she loves just laying on the floor and looking around. she always makes this "O" face.

the other day after i came home, i left soph in her carseat to sleep so i could sneak in a shower. i heard her crying when i turned off the water and i knew exactly why...

this makes her so mad. i felt so bad, i ran downstairs in my towel and brought her up to my room and put her on the bed. literally, 30 seconds later...

asleep.

this is the outfit she was supposed to wear home from the hospital. it fits now. we still have a ways to go for the hat. i'm sure it will fit nicely in july or something.

emi loves playing with sophie. despite what this looks like, emi was being really nice and soft. it looks like emi was taking a swing at sophie and she was blocking it. emi loves to touch her head and give her kisses.
