the new house.
we finally found a house.
we don't close until the 19th, but things are moving along. we can't wait to move in and get going. the house was forclosed and has been vacant for about a year. the yard is in pretty bad shape since no one has been taking care of it, but that's the beautiful part about moving in in november. i don't even have to worry about it until spring. the inside is actually in pretty good shape despite the terrible paint job and dirty carpet. i'll be sure to post some before and after pictures. we will most likely be spending thanksgiving painting, getting new carpet and cleaning. we are so excited to finally have somewhere to live and a room for baby k to come home to. we love it!

yay! the houses we're looking at are in preforclosure as well. lots of work but you can get a great deal. can't wait for pics
What a gorgeous house! And foreclosures really are good deals. There may be a lot of clean up, but the price makes it worth it!
Congrats! Our yard was the same way and WORSE when we got it. No one lived in our house for over 2 years.
