we finally found a new car. we felt kind of bad using my parent's extra car AND staying in their basement. we had to take care of one or the other and couldn't figure out what to do first. glad we have one thing taken care of.
we ended up with an '01 highlander...which we didn't plan on buying, but we love it!
it had pretty low miles, it's super clean inside and has been really well taken care of. it was rated really highly buy consumer reports, and once we drove it we were sold.
there is also tons of room in the back for all sorts of baby stuff.
what do you think?
while we were at the credit union getting the car taken of, we found out someone has been using jd's social security number. yikes. luckily he was able to prove he is who he says with his ss card, but it's quite a mess. and we can't really apply for a mortgage until this gets fixed...it could be 4-6 weeks. they aren't sure if it is really identity theft of if there was just some sort of mix-up in the credit bureau data base. also, his credit it great still so there hasn't been any damage...yet. hopefully we caught things in time! wish us luck!

I love the car! It looks great!!! Good luck on the house hunting part! Hopefully the ss# thing gets sorted out fast!! That could be scary and I'm glad it's not affecting your credit and hopefully it never does!!
Cute car! Good luck on finding a home :) I am excited about all the great changes going on!! And, I hope the ss number issue gets fixed! That can be scary but it sounds like it will be okay.
