yesterday and today i went to my cake decorating class at carrie's cakes.
AMAZING. expensive, but worth it.

carrie is awesome and i so want to be her.
her entire basement is a kitchen and she has every tool, color, flower, and stand imaginable. she has 10 drawers just dedicated to ribbon (strange that i'm really fascinated by that, but i really love ribbon for some reason).
i learned so much from her in 2 days. wow.

this is the finished product. it is exactly how i pictured it.there are roses that go on the top, but those take days to dry.

That is the most beautiful cake ever!!! It's almost an answer to my prayers. Andy (your cousin) & I have been looking for someone to make our wedding cake. We want just a very simple three tier circle fondant cake (almost just like the one you made). Our colors are pink and brown. Would there be any chance that you would do it for us? Alicia!!! You are so awesome!! Do you know how much you could sale a cake like that for?! A lot. You're cake is definitely the best by the way. So this is funny... I have a brother-in-law that is in love with baking cakes and he's just discovered fondent. Which is hilarious to me. He always makes cakes for all the family parties. He made a ghost in a graveyard for halloween. It was super funny. You would die. I was telling him how you're in this cake decorating class and he got super excited about the idea of a class. Hehe (he's not gay. Actually he's really cool, just a little quirky) Anyway... I thought you would appreciate that. And... again.... you have a serious talent!!!

I love it. I am so jealous that you know how to bake like that. How much would a cake run in price tee hee. :) Also how much was that class. That is the coolest thing ever. I am so incredibly jealous.
